Listing

Listing is FREE, We will keep your listings on our web site until they sell. There are 5 steps for you to follow in order to list your items with us...

1. Compile a list of the items you wish to sell.
   Try to provide us with the item name, part # and variation of the item
   
2. Inspect your items.
   Be sure to note:
   
   
   • Condition of the piece - MINT condition or is it damaged in any way (scratches, nicks, etc)
   • Do you have the certificate (this applies to ALL Pieces, Especially Annual and Limited Editions)?
   • Do you have the original box (with or without label on top)?
     
     
3. Set the price.
   If you are unsure about setting prices, we can help you do this by considering recent sales trends and our current listings
4. Email us your list at info@crystalloft.com
   Give us all the above information regarding the pieces you wish to sell. Please list the prices that You are looking for. We also need information about you for our database: Name, Address, Phone #, FAX # (if applicable) and Email Address.
5. PLEASE - Keep us up-to-date.
   If you are selling your crystal privately or using other brokers, let us know when you sell items.

Selling

1. We will contact you when we have a buyer for your piece.
   We primarily use e-mail for this so that you have record of the transaction. If you don't have email, or do not reply to our emails, we will phone you.
   
2. Clean and Re-inspect your items.
   Although you did this at the time you listed them with us, it doesn't hurt to do a second inspection. We suggest you thoroughly dust off your crystal to bring out its shine. Then using bright lights, look at every angle on every side of your item. And don't forget to turn it upside down to check for damage. These simple steps can save time, money, and disappointment if you find nicks/chips that you may have previously overlooked.
   
3. Send your item(s) to us.
   You need to be prompt when we have a buyer for your item(s). Sending them within 5 days is considered to be a reasonable time frame. We recommend that you pack them well, allowing for cushioning on all sides of the item(s), especially if you are shipping without Swarovski boxes. Be sure to insure the item(s) for the at YOUR SELLING Price . The cost of shipping the item(s) to us for the inspection is the seller's expense. (For international sellers, any duties we incur to receive your item(s) will be deducted from the Seller's Net.)
   
4. We will perform Our Inspection. This entails a thorough inspection of the piece under high intensity light to be sure of condition of the items.
5. Returning items to sellers.
   We will return any item not accurately represented. We will expect to be reimbursed for the return charges by either Check or by deducting shipping charges from pending payments to you. This is why it is so important to thoroughly inspect your item before sending it to us.
   
6. We will ship a buyers order once the product has arrived and the payment has been processed.
   We do not send any items to buyers without cleared checks or Paypal Payment. This process generally takes 1-4 weeks, depending on the number of items in the buyer's order.
   
7. If buyers reject items that pass our inspection, we pay the return shipping to you.
   
8. Receiving Payment...the seller is paid when the sale is complete.
   When the buyer's order is small (1-2 items), you can expect payment about 2 weeks after we receive and inspect your item. When the buyer's order is large (10+ items) or is shipped internationally, payment may take as long as 6 weeks. (Delays while the package is in customs is normal and is totally out of our control).
   
9. Method of Payment and Fees.
   We issue business checks to pay all sellers and they are sent using 1st class US Mail (no fee). However, if you prefer a different method of payment, here are the options:
   
   
   • Wire-transfer - to Us or by Us - $20 fee
   • "Bank check" / "Cashier's check" - $10 fee
   • Payment sent using "Registered Mail" (secure) - $10 fee
   • Payment Using other methods of Shipping (to be determined)

Pricing:
Commission For items under $3000, our commission is 18.5% of the Listed Price.
For items $3000+, our commission is 17% of the Listed Price.
On items $100 or less, it is $20.
List Price This is the price that the buyer pays.It INCLUDES our commission.
The prices advertised on our site are the List Prices.
Seller's Net This is the amount that the seller receives when the sale is complete.
It is the List price minus our commision.
